Photo Contest

Calling all amateur photographers! Help us celebrate Petaluma’s beautiful urban forest by entering our Urban Forest Management Plan photo contest.

We’re looking for photos of:

• Favorite individual trees

• Tree-lined streets and leafy neighborhoods

• Wildlife enjoying trees (like birds, squirrels, or pollinators)

• Striking “tree portraits” that show off a tree’s character

• Any other scenes that capture the beauty and importance of Petaluma’s trees!

Rules for Entry:

📍 Photos must be taken within Petaluma city limits.

📸 You may submit up to 20 photos per person.

🗓️ Submissions are due by October 1st, 2025.

📖 By entering, you agree that your photo(s) may be published in Petaluma’s Urban Forest Management Plan (coming early 2026), as well as on associated websites and social media. Photographers will be credited wherever possible.

Photos will be judged by a panel of local tree lovers, and the top three winners will score some cool urban forestry prizes!
